RATES AND SERVICES

Monterey Bay Aviation now offers a full range of airframe and engine maintenance, avionics diagnostics, nitrogen and oxygen service and aircraft detailing.  MBA Maintenance facilities are located on the Northwest ramp and include a customer lounge, flight planning counter, internet access and direct line for filing flight plans. 

Customer Service Policies:

ESTIMATES:  Our estimate for any scheduled service, e.g., annual, oil change, etc. will be based on the manufacturers’ guidelines.  The estimate is MBA’s guaranteed maximum cost for the inspection or service.  If the service or inspection takes less time, you will only be billed for the actual hours worked.

SQUAWKS:  MBA’s service writers will always obtain the customers approval before repairing or replacing items that are discovered during the inspection.  The customer will be given an estimate of the repair cost, an explanation of the work to be performed, and the estimated time to complete the work.

PARTS:  MBA subscribes to a number of parts networks, and our staff is committed to researching and finding the best part at the best price possible.  We will never use a rebuilt part on your airplane without obtaining your permission.

DETAILING:  Your airplane will be detailed during your annual inspection at no extra cost.

DEPOSIT:  We mayrequire a 50% deposit, based on the estimated cost of the inspection or service.

PAYMENT:  Payment at the time of delivery is appreciated.  We accept VISA/MC and personal checks.

SHOP FLOOR:  Our insurance carrier requires that customers not be permitted on the shop floor.  Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated and it will insure that we can service your airplane more safely, more efficiently and more cost effectively.

We are a member of the FAA Safety Team and use the last Saturday of every month to promote safer skies through education. We call these meetings Red’s Mornings and encourage you to join us regularly.
