GLASS COCKPIT TRAINING -
G1000 & Avidyne

Learning to fly an aircraft that has a glass cockpit requires a structured approach on the ground and in the air. Flying an aircraft with these revolutionary systems adds a higher degree of situational awareness and precision that requires structured classroom discussion, intensive simulator training and thorough in-flight application.

Monterey Bay Aviation offers training that is based on best practices for learning and transitioning to glass cockpit aircraft. We offer group or individual training both of which will maximize your learning experience and provide you significant value for the investment that you will make for this training.

 INSTRUMENT PROFICIENCY

This course has been created to develop an approach to help maintain true instrument proficiency by following a structured, yet specifically tailored program placing emphasis on good procedure, expanding the envelope of pilot skill, and increasing pilot confidence. This course can be expanded to an IPC by doing a circle to land in an aircraft. All other requirements for an IPC can be met in the Modular Flight Deck.
